FAQs

Do I need to be an active LDS member to work with you?

1

No, I support all divorced men with LDS roots, regardless of whether you remain active in the faith or have chosen a different path. My coaching experience is consistent, nonjudgmental, and centered on personal growth.

How is your coaching different from therapy?

2

Therapy focuses on healing the past. Coaching focuses on rebuilding your future. I help you regain clarity, confidence, identity, and direction after divorce — using lived experience, practical tools, and forward‑focused strategies.

What to expect in your first session?

3

Your first session is about one thing: getting you grounded. Most men come in feeling overwhelmed, angry, numb, or unsure where to even start. That’s normal. This session gives you clarity, direction, and a sense of control again.

Here’s what we do in Session One:

1. We get clear on where you are right now No pressure, no judgment. Just an honest look at what’s happening emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and practically.

2. We identify the biggest weights you’re carrying Guilt, shame, betrayal, loneliness, identity loss, cultural pressure — whatever it is, we name it so it stops running the show.

3. We define what you actually want moving forward Not what your ex wants. Not what your ward thinks. Not what your family expects. What you want.

4. We build a simple, realistic plan for your next steps You’ll walk away with clarity, direction, and a sense of stability — not more overwhelm.

5. You’ll feel understood by someone who’s lived it I’ve walked through divorce. A lifetime in LDS culture. I get the emotional and cultural layers most people miss.

You leave the first session feeling lighter, clearer, and no longer alone in this.

This coaching is for you if you:

  • Are divorced or in the middle of a divorce

  • Have LDS background (active, inactive, questioning — all welcome)

  • Feel lost, stuck, or unsure who they are now

  • Carry guilt, shame, or cultural pressure

  • Want to rebuild confidence, identity, and emotional strength

  • Want a coach who understands LDS culture from the inside

If you’re looking for clarity, direction, and a grounded path forward — you’re in the right place.

This Coaching is NOT for you if you:

  • Want to stay in victim mode

  • Aren’t willing to be honest about their situation

  • Want someone to blame their ex or the Church

  • Expect quick fixes without doing the work

  • Are looking for therapy for trauma, addiction, or mental health crises

My coaching is for men who want to rebuild — not avoid, escape, or stay stuck.

How long does coaching usually last?

Most men work with me for 8–12 weeks to rebuild clarity, confidence, and direction. Some continue longer for deeper identity work or support as they enter new chapters of life.

Do you help with dating after divorce?

6

Yes — but only when you’re ready. We focus first on rebuilding identity, confidence, emotional health, and boundaries. When the foundation is solid, we move into healthy dating strategies.
